How to Get Here The first two days of the conference will be hosted at The Faversham - a private conference venue. We chose this venue because it will better enable networking and breakout discussions. The Faverham is on campus and can be found with this postcode: LS2 9NG. The full address is:The Faversham, 1-5 Springfield Mount, Leeds LS2 9NG The Faversham is a brisk 10-15 min walk from Leeds train station. There is limited parking available at the venue. The closest airports to Leeds are Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA) and Manchester Airport (MAN). Leeds Bradford Airport is around seven miles away from the University and is easily commutable by taxi. The taxis at the airport are quite expensive. There are alternatives that are a lot less expensive but they need to be called by phone or by app such as Amber Cars and Uber. If you are on a budget or enjoy the scenery you could also get a bus from the airport to Leeds City Centre (you should take bus number 757). If you’re flying into Manchester Airport, you can catch a train from the airport to Leeds city centre. Leeds Railway Station connects Leeds with all major UK cities. For train information and timetables visit the National Rail Enquiries website. Walking to the University campus from Leeds Railway Station takes around 20 minutes. Leeds is linked to the M1 and M62 motorways. Click Visitor and Public Car Parking for information for drivers wanting to park at the University. For coach details, visit the National Express website. Most coaches arrive into Leeds Bus Station. The number 6 bus runs from the bus station to the Parkinson Building, outside the University’s main entrance. There is also a taxi rank outside the bus station. A taxi to the University takes about 10 minutes. For local bus information and timetables, visit the West Yorkshire Metro website. There is also a Leeds CityBus that stops at the bus and train stations and the southern end of campus (near the back of Leeds General Infirmary A&E). The Campus The University of Leeds is a 20-minute walk from the train station in Leeds.
